Niels van Roij Design will build the only Ferrari Breadvan Hommage sports carJanuary 5, 2019
A car for participation in sports competitions will be built in honor of the Ferrari 250 GT SWB sports car, which won the LeMans endurance competition in 1962.
The British company Niels van Roij Design presented a render of the future sports car, which differs from the modern line of the Italian company with a large square body in the rear. In fact, this is a design project of a new car that will be built in the singular. The basis was taken from the 550 Maranello because of its spiritual connection with the legendary Ferrari 250 GT.
The 2020 Ferrari Breadvan will be built in honor of the 1962 eponymous rally car. At that time, the model was built on the basis of the Ferrari 250 GT SWB, and was famous for the unusual modification of the body and the victory in the Ferrari 250 GT SWB endurance race. The future novelty will receive a large aspirated V12 GT engine, transmitting torque exclusively to the rear axle.
At the moment, the project is at the stage of preparation and elaboration of details. It is assumed that the replacement will undergo every detail of the body, even the front. The process of work, as well as the degree of readiness will be updated weekly – as promised the company Niels van Roij Design.
Meanwhile, an even more powerful version of the hybrid Ferrari LaFerrari is presented. The guys from the tuning company RevoZport presented a package of improvements for the Italian hybrid sports car Ferrari LaFerrari.
