Nico Rosberg organizes the festival GreentechFebruary 5, 2019
World champion 2016 Nico Rosberg announced among the organizers of the festival Greentech, which will be held in Berlin from 23 to 25 May. After completing a career in Formula 1, Niko became actively interested in alternative energy, invested in Formula E, and together with businessmen Marco Voigt and Sven Kruger engaged in the Greentech project.
In essence, this is an exhibition of “green” technologies, within the framework of which conferences on the development of alternative energy sources will be held. The festival will end with the Berlin Formula E stage – the world electric car racing championship is one of the partners of Greentech. The organizers expect that in three days more than 50 thousand people will visit their site.
Nico Rosberg: “We strive to realize the enormous potential that“ green ”technologies possess, and also we want to inspire as many people as possible in order to accelerate positive changes.
Nowadays, more and more companies are striving to use green technologies, but this sphere will continue to develop only if we all support this trend. That is why I am fighting for him. ”
