Next month Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider and 812 Spider will be shownSeptember 3, 2019
Very soon, the Italian brand will introduce two new models – they will be the F8 Tributo Spider and 812 Spider (roadsters). The presentation of the first is scheduled for September 24, but the second will be shown today.
During a conference call in the second quarter of 2019, Ferrari CEO Louis Camilleri announced two presentations that are scheduled for this September. To preserve a certain degree of secrecy, the head of the company did not reveal the identities of the two new products. However, these days it is difficult to keep future products a secret, especially when companies invite potential buyers to see cars before their actual official debut.
Why are they doing that? Because some visitors immediately go to social networks to share news about these new products, thus the public’s interest begins to “inflame”.
That is exactly what the participant of the foreign forum Ferrari Chat did – he posted on Instagram an image of two paperweight, with beautiful silhouettes of future Ferrari cars. While the models received the temporary designation V12 Spider and V8 Spider, we assume that we are talking about the F8 Tributo and 812 Superfast roadsters themselves. Official names are currently unknown, although a model with a V12 engine is reportedly called the “812 GTS” and will be presented today, September 9th. According to the forum member, the presentation of the Tributo roadster is expected on September 24.
2019 is one of the busiest years for Ferrari in terms of new models, as two roadsters will be shown after the hybrid SF90 Stradale and F8 Tributo coupe. Do not forget the P80 / C, although this is not an ordinary production model, since it was developed exclusively as a one-time, racing car. After the presentation of two roadsters, November will be the month when the new car of the Italian brand is shown – it may turn out to be a “hybrid” based on the V6 engine, which, as we know, has been working for a long time in the company.
