New version of Renault Espace caught journalistsJanuary 10, 2019
The official presentation of the updated French Renault Espace should be expected at the end of this year. The start of sales is likely scheduled for the beginning of 2020. The novelty will receive a changed appearance, as well as a couple of new engines.
Even in today’s automotive world, in which everybody buys crossovers, SUVs, and pickups, there are still people to whom it is family minivans. That’s exactly why the guys from Renault are working and are working on a slightly updated Espace minivan.
The Renault Espace prototype, caught somewhere in northern Scandinavia, was camouflaged in front and behind. The film has been closed new bumper, headlights and taillights. I must say that similar changes were seen on a slightly updated compact crossover Kadjar.
I do not think that the salon of the new version of the French minivan will receive any major changes, since the management of the Renault company probably decided not to spend a lot of money on restyled Espace. After all, it is no secret to anyone that this minivan is not nearly the best-selling model of the brand. According to insiders, there is no information on whether a new generation Renault Espace will be presented. Perhaps, according to the global trend, priority will be given to crossovers and SUVs.
Not so long ago, Renault announced new gasoline and diesel engines not only for its minivan, but also for the mid-sized Koleos and Talisman models. This is a TCe 225 and Blue dCi 160/200 – all of them come standard with automatic transmissions with double clutch.
The car will be presented at the end of this year.
