New Toyota RAV4-based Wildlander introduced in GuangzhouNovember 22, 2019
Externally, the car is quite seriously different from the fifth-generation RAV4, but it adopted most of the technical characteristics from the donor.
At the motor show, which takes place these days in Guangzhou, a loud presentation of the new Toyota Wildlander crossover took place. As previously stated, the car is based on the Toyota RAV4. However, outwardly, he received significant changes. It is distinguished by narrowed headlights, the line of which extends to the front wings. Also worth noting are the modified bumpers and the massive grille. The length of the Wildlander is 4,600 mm with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. The width of the car reaches 1 855 mm, and the height is 1 685 mm. The novelty completely adopted the motor range from Toyota RAV4 – two engines will be available to customers to choose from.
The first was a 2.0-liter aspirated engine with a return of 171 hp, and the second would be a hybrid powerplant with a total power of 222 hp
Both options work in tandem with a CVT. The drive relies on front or full depending on the selected configuration. Inside the car, a virtual dashboard is used. To control the machine’s systems, a touch panel with a large screen rises above the central panel.

Among them are all-round cameras, a collision avoidance system, lane control and adaptive cruise control. The start of sales of a new car in China will begin in early 2020.
