New Toyota Raize Becomes Japan’s Best-Selling BrandMarch 4, 2020
Buyers appreciated the stylish design, rich technical equipment and a fairly budget price tag.
The new Toyota Raize crossover is in high demand in the Japanese car market. The compact crossover went on sale in November last year – at the moment, the plant can not cope with the influx of people who want to buy a car, and the line for it stretched until mid-May. In January 2020, official dealers of the brand in Japan were able to sell 10,220 of these machines. By the way, this is more than the previous bestseller Toyota Corolla, which sold 8,480 units.
The length of the novelty is only 3,995 mm, the width is 1,695 mm, and the height reaches 1,620 mm. At the same time, the luggage compartment is 396 liters, which is the best indicator in its class.
Under the hood of the car is a 1.0-liter engine with a return of 98 hp, which works in tandem with a CVT. This combination allows you to keep fuel consumption in the combined cycle at around 5.4 liters per 100 kilometers.
The car has a large number of security systems – we note adaptive cruise control and lane control systems and frontal collision avoidance. Toyota Raize is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic roof and leather trim. We note a rather budget price.
