New Skoda Fabia photographed without camouflage
January 21, 2021After the published pictures, we were able to see several interesting features of the new Fabia at once.
The Czech company Skoda will soon present a new Fabia car – the premiere should take place in the fall of 2021. However, already now we managed to look at the novelty without a layer of camouflage film. In the new car, you can see the exterior details from the Skoda Vision RS concept, which was shown back in 2018.
The front of the car is made in the spirit of the latest Skoda novelties, including the Octavia. At the same time, the photo caught a car in a sports version of Monte Carlo, which can be said about the increased diameter of the rims. The Skoda Fabia will be based on the MQB-A0 platform, which is quite popular among the cars of the Volkswagen AG concern. In particular, it applies to Volkswagen Polo, Audi A1 and Seat Ibiza. After the transition to a new platform, the car became larger and more spacious.
The full technical specifications have not yet been declassified, but it is already known that the car will receive atmospheric and turbocharged engines.
But diesel engines most likely will not be. As a transmission, buyers will be offered a manual transmission or “robot”. It is already known that the new Fabia will be sold in two body types – a hatchback and a station wagon.
In the meantime, it became known that Skoda will soon release a completely new crossover, which will be named Kushaq. The teasers show a compact silhouette of the car, so India may become the main market for it.
