New Renault Captur brighter and roomierOctober 16, 2019
Dealers of the French brand in China received the first commercial copies of the new generation of the Renault Captur compact crossover. Customers will receive their cars on October 25th.
Sales of the new Renault Captur, whose public premiere was organized last month as part of the Frankfurt motor show, will start in China. From the “pre-reform” compact cross, the novelty is distinguished by a more spectacular appearance, improved ergonomics and an expanded list of available equipment. The basis for the new product was the CMF-B platform, thanks to which it was possible to “increase” the dimensions of the SUV. So, the length of the new Captur went to the “plus” by 100 mm, the width – by 19 mm, and the wheelbase – by 33 mm. The trunk has increased by 81 liters and now boasts a volume of 536 liters. Already in the “base”, the cross receives stylish optics on LED-matrices, and the manufacturer offered its customers advanced features for personalizing cars.
So, 90 different combinations are immediately available for painting the body, and your favorite combination of colors will help to complement decorative overlays and inserts. For interior Captur have developed 18 color finishes.
Inside the next-generation Renault Captur, we see an improved center console, new seats, advanced multimedia with a 9.3-inch screen, as well as better finishing materials and contactless charging for gadgets. Not without its “smart” complex of active and passive safety systems.
The Chinese were offered a front-wheel drive crossover with a single 1.3-liter gasoline turbo engine with 155 hp, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed “robot”. In Europe, the new Captur also receives a one and a half liter 95-horsepower diesel engine and a liter supercharged engine with a output from 100 to 130 hp. 110,000 yuan will have to be paid for the most affordable Kaptur in Chinese car dealerships
