The network has pictures of the next generation crossover Range Rover Evoque
At the disposal of the publication Autoweek appeared photos of the next generation Range Rover Evoque. The crossover received a body design with elements from the older Velar, but retained the “corporate” coupe profile. The public debut of Evoque will take place on November 22.
According to the publication Autocar, Range Rover Evoque will move to a modernized version of the platform D8, used on the Jaguar E-Pace. The main changes in the crossover will fall on the technical stuffing and equipment.
The range of engines of the new Evoque will consist of petrol and diesel turbo four of the Ingenium family, as well as a moderate hybrid power plant. All units will be able to work in conjunction with a nine-speed automatic transmission ZF.
Land Rover has previously installed wire sculptures in the west of London, demonstrating the simplified design of the new Range Rover Evoque. They show that the model will retain the old outlines, and changes in appearance will only be cosmetic. For example, horizontal slats will appear in the air intakes.
Since the start of production in 2011, the Evoque has sold around 750,000 copies worldwide. In addition, the crossover received more than 225 international awards and prizes.
