New Porsche 911 Turbo launches at NurburgringNovember 13, 2019
The debut of the supercar will take place in the spring of 2020.
Porsche is just starting to work with its 992, and if it will be something similar to the previous generation, you can find more than 20 different versions throughout the life cycle. The 991 / 991.2 family was so large that the company decided to release a cool video explaining them all and how they fit into the lineup, from the base Carrera to the powerful GT2 RS.
It is not clear whether the Porsche Turbo or Turbo S was tested at the Nurburgring, but be that as it may, it looked insanely fast. It is expected that the hot line of two Turbo models will reach speeds from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in two and a half seconds, despite the fact that it weighs 45 kg more than its predecessor.
Power for the Turbo S will increase from 580 hp. the previous model to about 641 hp, although this number has not yet been determined. In addition, it is expected that torque will increase from 553 lb-ft (750 Newton-meters) to a powerful 590 lb-ft (800 Nm). The sweet sound that is heard in the video is provided by the updated 3.8-liter turbocharged engine. It is also worth noting that the car will be sold exclusively with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Although not immediately noticeable in this spy video, the new Turbo will be 0.8 inches (2 centimeters) wider at the rear than the previous generation model, and at the same time 2.1 inches (5.3 cm) wider than the current one Carrera. There will be an adjustable splitter ahead, and the rear wing will be larger than the previous car.
