New Porsche 911 GT3 spotted without camouflageOctober 30, 2020
Porsche has brought the new generation 911 GT3 to the test in a production body without any camouflage.
So, even the rear bumper covers that were there before disappeared. Now there is a full consideration of this detail. In this case, the only part that remains covered is in the middle area of the rear LED strip that connects the taillights.
Of course, this isn’t the first time a German corporation has shown a finished car, as Porsche teased the new 911 GT3 by showing it against the backdrop of a Super Bowl ad last January. As for the power unit of the novelty, it is equipped with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 520 hp. The transmission will be a 6-speed manual transmission and a PDK gearbox with two clutches.
In turn, the new engine of the updated model will get gasoline particulate filters due to tougher standards in Europe. Speaking of the premiere date of the Porsche 911 GT3, the novelty will debut towards the end of the year after a delay caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition, it was recently noted that the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid has got a new battery. It should be emphasized that the car of the German automaker, instead of the previous battery of 14.1 kW / h, was equipped with an analogue of 17.9 kW / h.
