New Peugeot 508 shows ahead Geneva debutFebruary 21, 2018
At the disposal of the edition Carscoops were the first official photos of the Peugeot 508 sedan of the new generation. The car debuts on March 6 at the Geneva Motor Show.
Judging by the pictures, the novelty will outwardly resemble the concept car Instinct, presented in March 2017. In particular, it will have similar blocks of LED daytime running lights, going down to the bumper from the headlights.
As for the interior, the new Peugeot 508 will receive the company’s second-generation i-Cockpit with a fully digital dashboard, a small rudder with bevelled edges, and seats with pronounced lateral support. In the list of electronic assistants there will be a system of a circular survey and an automatic emergency braking system.
The line of engines will include diesel units with a working volume of 1.5 and 2.0 liters, as well as a 1.6-liter petrol unit with a capacity of 165 hp. The engines will work with a six-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the novelty will have a top hybrid version with a capacity of about 300 hp.
