A new version of Peugeot 2008 crossover has entered the Brazilian market. The car received another restyling, but only for the local market. The fact is that in Latin America Peugeot cars are considered quite prestigious and the local market plays an important role for the company.
Therefore, the development of the update was done by the local unit, which made a deep adaptation to local requests. In contrast to the european version, the model received a higher bumper with an increased arrival angle, while the feed remained the same. But the main change in the cabin, where with the basic configuration installed multimedia system with a 7-inch display.

So, for the local market, Peugeot 2008 is equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of up to 115 horsepower, as well as a turbocharged engine of 1.6 THP with a capacity of up to 166 power. Both engines are adapted for use of gasoline, and ethanol distributed in the local market. Also, the crossover has lost kits with a mechanical transmission.
Unfortunately, the Latin American version of Peugeot 2008 will not go beyond the local market.
