New Opel Insignia 2020 Spy Shots AppearOctober 31, 2019
In new photos taken by adroit photospies, we can see a less disguised prototype of the 2020 Opel Insignia facelift.
While many were expecting Insignia to go through its first appearance in Frankfurt, Opel had other plans. The debut of the car is now believed to be expected at the end of the year or early 2020.
The Insignia 2020 will be endowed with a new front panel with a thinner grille. This design has something in common with what was used at Corsa 2020, and has a single strip, which is broken by a noticeable Opel logo.
In addition to the new grille, the Insignia was equipped with restyled headlights. They are quite developed, but have a prominent emphasis on the outer edges. The rest of the car will largely remain the same, but it seems that the taillights may have some minor modifications. This GSi prototype also has a smaller rear spoiler.
While style changes are relatively small, large changes can occur under the hood. According to preliminary information, Opel and Vauxhall are now part of the PSA Groupe. As a result, the model could replace some of its engines developed by GM with new PSA units.
