A battery pack of 50 kWh allows an electric vehicle to pass without recharging up to 330 kilometers (using the WLTP cycle). With the help of a special fast system, the battery can be recharged by 80% in just half an hour.
As for the sixth generation of the standard Opel Corsa, it will be built on the CMP (Common Modular Platform) modular architecture, which is already the basis of the new Peugeot 208 and DS3 Crossback. The new chassis will make the car about 100 kg lighter than its predecessor, which will positively affect the fuel economy and vehicle dynamics.
According to preliminary data, the 1.2-liter three-cylinder supercharged engine will be included in the engine range, which will be available in several stages of the boost. The top versions of the Opel Corsa will be equipped with LED matrix headlamps, which debuted in 2015 on the Astra of a new generation, and then appeared on the flagship Insignia model.
