New Nissan Z sports car to debut August 17 in New YorkJune 11, 2021
Nissan has decided on a date for the premiere of the new Nissan Z sports car. The company officially announced it just a few months after the show of the Z Proto concept. 2020.
Moreover, one should not rejoice ahead of time: it will take several months before the production version appears, and only then will we finally be able to see the new two-turbine coupe in metal. But the automaker did not expand on the price of the new sports car and its performance.
The new Z is known to borrow the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine from the Infiniti Q60, with an expected output of around 400 horsepower. A manual transmission with an optional automatic transmission will be included as standard, and power will be transmitted exclusively to the rear wheels.
The design of the new Nissan Z will likely be a version of what we’ve already seen on the Z Proto: an impressive fastback shape, a huge grille and retro-styled taillights. Patent applications and spy photos of what we consider to be the final production cut paint a pretty clear picture.
The interior of the new Z shouldn’t be that different from the Proto. The same crisp 8.0-inch touchscreen will likely carry on, as will the triple-gauge front-panel design, digital instrument cluster and a three-spoke steering wheel with leather seats available as an option.
According to insider information, the new sports car will cost a minimum of $ 34,995. With the performance package, that amount could rise by another $ 5,000. It will include Brembo brakes, thicker anti-roll bars, more powerful cooling and more. We will find out more at the end of summer.
Earlier, AutoTimesNews said that the new generation of the Honda Civic hatchback was presented on the first render. In general, the novelty will be similar to the sedan already presented, but with a number of features.
