New Nissan X-Trail spotted on testsMarch 24, 2020
Nissan keeps secrets very well. However, still we have images of the new generation Nissan Rogue (aka X-Trail), published on Instagram by CocheSpias.
Two Rogue prototypes were recently caught in Las Vegas. The camouflage is still pretty heavy, but we can clearly see the current Nissan grille design outlined behind the black coatings. This aspect, apparently, will not undergo significant changes for the next generation, but so far we are best able to see the updated Rogue lighting for the front of the car. The exact design is still hidden, but these photos suggest that it will be a bold new look at the SUV.
We must understand that after all this is not so bold as we should expect. The side profile of the X-Trail is not as shaded as the front and back, where we see the body line and window layout similar to the current model.
The car will be driven by something more powerful than the current Rogue offers: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a return of 170 horsepower (127 kW), connected to the variator for the front wheels or all four. The new Rogue is likely to be introduced sometime this year as the 2021 model.
