New Nissan Sentra debuts on November 19November 13, 2019
Announced earlier this year for the Chinese Nissan Sylphy market, the American Sentra sedan will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Nissan is preparing to launch an updated Sentra. Chinese buyers have recently seen a new product. According to available information, the model relies on only one power plant – a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission. There is neither a 6-speed manual, nor a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. Nevertheless, the 2.0-liter engine does show a significant increase in power compared to the previous unit: from 124 hp. and 169 Nm of torque in the current Sentra when paired with a CVT and up to 149 hp and 196 Nm of torque.
Visually lower, wider and longer than the current Sentra sedan, this new model looks significantly less awkward and includes some interesting visual elements from other Nissan sedans such as Altima and Maxima. The interior boasts an attractive dashboard with a central screen with a tablet orientation and three round ventilation holes. The interior is complemented by diamond embroidery of the seats and a large screen in the dashboard.
