New Nissan Frontier showed on “live” photosOctober 26, 2020
The first shots of a commercial version of the 2021 Japanese pickup, which looks much more modern than the previous model, have appeared on the web.
Nissan first unveiled the new Frontier back in May, and ahead of its global debut, three photographs emerged showing the new pickup in LE 4×4 trim and a more off-road version, which may be called the Pro-4X.
Nissan has outfitted its new pickup with stylish modified headlights with LED daytime running lights. The white model also features a large radiator grille with chrome surround that extends to the bonnet. At the rear there are characteristic taillights with unique graphics and a tailgate with Frontier lettering. This all looks pretty pretty and certainly makes the Frontier look more modern.
The second example pictured clearly represents the new off-road variant of the Frontier and includes a matte black radiator grille with large Frontier lettering, plastic wheel arch liners and unique wheels with off-road tires.
On the technical side, the new Frontier will use the same 3.8-liter V6 engine that Nissan introduced earlier in this one. This engine has 93 percent new or remanufactured parts and develops 310 hp. and a torque of 381 Nm. It is matched with a new 9-speed automatic transmission.
