New motorcycle brand KSR created in EuropeFebruary 18, 2021
At the beginning of the new year, the Austrian-based KSR Group revealed that it is working on four new bikes at once. Moreover, all the announced motorcycles will enter the market under the previously unknown brand M.
After this announcement, experts suggested that the Austrians are going to revive the Italian brand Malaguti. Now KSR Group has moved from words to deeds – the new brand is registered with the supervisory authorities.
Future motorcycles will be powered by both traditional motors and electric powertrains. According to the Profile portal, the motorcycles will be called Motron Motorcycles. The first bikes will go on sale in the first half of 2021. The new brand is ready to offer customers four models – Whiz, Cubertino, Volz and Vizion.
According to preliminary data, the cost of one such motorcycle will be about 3,000 euros (almost 268,000 rubles). In the second quarter, they promise to present gasoline X-Nord 125 and cruiser Revolver 125. They will cost no more than the first four motorcycles.
The scooter line was also not ignored: it consists of four models with gasoline engines. New scooters are estimated at 205 thousand rubles in our money.
But the flagship model of the new brand will cost more than all the others. For Warrior 400 you will have to pay 5,000 euros (about half a million rubles). A couple more motorcycles will debut at the end of the year – the Nomad 125 and X-Nord 400. There is no information about their price tags yet.
At first, it will be possible to purchase new motorcycles and scooters only in individual European countries – there are nine of them. These are, for example, Italy, Greece, Austria, Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, etc. However, during the year the geography of sales will expand. It is difficult to predict whether new motorcycles will reach us.
