Also in the tuning show Essen Motor Show the MINI company announced the range of accessories for the cult British hatch.
The top MINI John Cooper Works with the supercharged engine capacity of 231 hp (170 kW) in the combined cycle consumes only 6.3 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers. Standard equipment includes proprietary aerodynamic body kit, sport exhaust system, height-adjustable suspension with the Brembo brakes, and a leather steering wheel and sports seats in the cabin.
Alloy wheels with a diameter of 17 or 18 inches are available in several design options, and optional finalization exhaust valves complement the fun of driving the corresponding sound. Additionally, you can enjoy all-weather options textiles and rugs, and LED-backlit sill.
For standard three- and five-door versions MINI Cooper S, and for the version with a removable top Cooper S Convertible, the proposed package John Cooper Works Tuning Kit, which allows to increase the engine power from 192 to 211 horsepower.
MINI Cooper success story began in 1961, while the hatchback was boosted from 34 to 55 “horses” engine, an upgraded transmission and suspension, as well as recustomized appropriate braking system. It was the beginning of the era of sporting achievements, when the classic MINI won in 1964 the first of his three victories at the Monte Carlo Rally.
Undoubtedly, the new version of the Mini finds their customers, and the company will continue its successful history.
