New Mercedes GLS caught photospies before debut in New YorkApril 9, 2019
In all likelihood, we are seeing the latest photos of the model in some camouflage. Already on April 17, 2019, the debut of the 2020 model year will be held at the upcoming car dealership.
We have repeatedly published photos of test prototypes of the new Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class. The car is almost ready for serial production and is now undergoing final tests on public roads just before the debut. The restyled crossover debuts at the New York Auto Show on April 17th. The model will be the most luxurious SUV in the ranks of the brand, at least until the Maybach version appears.
At the moment, prototypes hide only front and back part under camouflage. Despite this, we can consider a massive radiator grille with vertical crossbars and a front bumper with air intakes hidden under camouflage. Judging by the length of the body, the model should get a version with three rows of seats. Previously, the company promised that the model will become “a real S-class among SUVs.” This suggests increased comfort and premium materials in the interior trim.
Later, of course, a Maybach modification will be presented with a cost of about $ 200,000. Mercedes will produce a luxury SUV in Alabama, making it the most expensive new car assembled in the United States.
