New Mercedes-Benz G-Class 4×4 Squared spotted in trialsOctober 28, 2020
During the tests, it turned out to photograph a prototype of the updated Mercedes-Benz G-Class 4×4 Squared. Motor1 agency shared the corresponding spy photos.
This concept has a huge ground clearance, which is provided by portal axles. Although the prototype is covered with a camouflage film, it does not interfere with the widened wheel arches that allow the car to “wear” such large tires.
A rear ladder aft provides access to the roof rack, which is camouflaged from the front. It is possible that the manufacturer will install a panel with additional lighting here. In turn, the camouflage coating of the spare wheel remains an incomprehensible step.
It is assumed that the novelty will be built on the basis of the G550, as well as the current model, which is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a capacity of 416 hp. (610 Nm).
The new G-Class 4×4 Squared is expected to debut shortly. At the same time, there is no information about the cost of the updated model.
In addition, it was recently noted that the concept of a restyled Mercedes-Benz C-Class was seen on the roads. It should be emphasized that the camouflaged concept of the new 2022 model year was photographed on the Nürburgring race track.
