New Mercedes-Benz C-Class already got photospiesNovember 8, 2018
Recently, the model lineup of the German concern Mercedes began to be updated very quickly. This time, photo spies managed to capture the test prototype of the C-Class, made using the new design language.
The company from Stuttgart decided to work on its popular model, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The novelty is already undergoing road tests on public roads. Photospies managed to photograph a camouflaged prototype, according to which we already have the opportunity to get a first impression of a future novelty.
Despite the dense film, it is noticeable that the rear and front optics, for sure, are not yet serial and will continue to change. Also, experts suggest that the prototype may be tested in conjunction with the new optics Digital Light. With confidence, we can now say that the overall design of the car does not change much. Clearly noticeable new mirror housings, as well as new front bumper.
The technical part is expected to be quite strong changes. The novelty can get a modified platform MRA2 from the E-Class. The wheelbase will remain at the same level, but the place in the cabin may increase significantly. A fully digital instrument panel and multimedia display combined in the MBUX corporate cockpit will appear in the interior.
It is expected that the novelty will be presented only at the end of next year, and sales will begin. But analysts believe that the debut will take place only in 2020, with the start of sales in 2021.
In the meantime, the start of taking orders for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class PHEV was announced. The cost of the model is set at 47,700 pounds.
