The “charged” coupe-like SUV is officially presented at the international motor show.
The line of “charged” models of the Mercedes-Benz SUV segment was added by another SUV. The new GLE Coupe will be on sale as early as next spring. The exterior of the model has a more sporty design, as well as some changes in the cabin.
Under the hood of the novelty, a hybrid power unit based on a 3.0-liter engine with a capacity of 429 hp was installed. and 521 Nm of torque. Together with the power unit, a 9-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drive system work.
From zero to hundreds, the novelty can vary in just 5.2 seconds. The base model is equipped with a steel suspension, which is distinguished by sporty and neat tuning. Customers can also order the optional Airmatic or E-Active Body Control package.
In the basic version, the coupe-cross has an AMG Ride Control + air suspension, which promises both comfort and improved maneuverability. The crossover also has a sports steering wheel, high-performance brakes. It is expected that the GLE 53 will not appear in America in the very near future and as a model of 2021.
