New large pickup Maxus T90 showed before the official debutMarch 2, 2021
One of the features of the Maxus car is SAIC’s own production platform.
The Chinese company Maxus, which is owned by the SAIC carmaker, will soon unveil its large pickup truck called the T90. This new product will take place a notch above the current T70 pickup. Note that the Maxus T90 is based on a proprietary platform. In this, the car is fundamentally different from most of the Chinese novelties, which use the “carts” of their partners.
The new pickup, in addition to its large dimensions, will receive excellent off-road qualities. In particular, we note the presence of a rigid frame, four driving wheels, a reduction gear and a rear suspension adapted to difficult conditions.
As a power plant, buyers will be offered an uncontested 2.0-liter diesel engine, which has a large torque of 500 Nm. Depending on the selected configuration, a 6-speed manual transmission or a classic automatic transmission is used as a transmission.
The equipment of the car turned out to be quite rich – we single out a modern multimedia system, leather interior trim and all-round cameras.
Officially, the new product should be presented in the spring of 2021. Then the prices should be known.
