New Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo spotted at the NurburgringMay 19, 2020
Lamborghini is expected to introduce a new version of the Huracan this year.
Rumors of a Super Trofeo Omologato or STO model first appeared last year. According to preliminary information, this will be the road version of the Huracan Super Trofeo track car. In March, the first photos of the mysterious “high-winged” Lamborghini in camouflage appeared on the Web, which left more questions than answers.
The video, shot during “ordinary driving” at the Nurburgring, demonstrates the movement of the car, “exposed to carbon.” The lack of external paint and livery is rather strange, although it is possible that the owner visited a tuning studio to make it legal.
Huracan Super Trofeo Omologato, if it does happen, has a lot of differences from the track version. STO photos leaked earlier on Instagram show a completely different rear panel design with large outlet openings located far apart from each other in the bumper. New apertures appeared directly under the rear lights, and the entire lower panel has a new design, although it retains the aggressive style of the racing version. STO also gets another, more “wild” wing, and the engine cover has a new design with an inlet extending over the roof.
Lamborghini has not officially confirmed the possibility of the appearance of the Huracan STO, not to mention the release dates. All that is known at the moment is rumors about the development of such a model along with leaked photos of the mysterious and disguised Lamborghini.
