New KIA Xceed declassified before the official presentationMay 2, 2019
The network has the first live photos of the new version of Ceed in the cross-version. The model is already preparing for debut and entry into the market, and now it has been seen on tests without any camouflage.
Soon, a new crossover based on the well-known hatch KIA Ceed will be on sale. A model called Xceed is being tested in the Netherlands, where it was spotted by photospies. The most interesting thing is that the company has already taken off camouflage, and this indicates readiness for serial production and an early presentation. Photos of the model published the local edition of autoweek.
Judging by the presented photos, the car will receive a recognizable design in the company’s corporate style. Moreover, the designers have significantly changed the car, in comparison with the base Hatch, adding not only a plastic body kit, but also other stylistic changes. So, the model will receive a different optics, a modified glazing line, another bumper and a rear spoiler with a diffuser will be added.
As a power unit, the model will receive four different versions of gasoline and diesel engines, including 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engines (140 hp) and 1.6 liters (204 hp). The turbo diesel range will be represented by a 1.6-liter engine with power up to 115 and 136 horsepower, depending on the version.
Unfortunately, the release date, presentation, as well as the cost is still kept secret.
