New Infiniti models will receive an updated multimedia systemNovember 2, 2019
Infiniti will equip its cars of model year 2020 with a new generation multimedia system.
As noted in the Japanese brand, the new InTouch infotainment complex with a dual display system will not only make driving more comfortable, but also provide more options for connecting to Wi-Fi. Since now up to 7 devices can be connected to the wireless network at the same time.
“Currently, access to the network is very important for drivers. This allows them to have the latest information on the traffic situation, and passengers, in turn, can broadcast, watch videos and much more. It’s very important for us to offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems in our new models in order to allow most drivers to connect their smartphones to the car, ”the representative of the Japanese brand said.
Models that acquire a new multimedia system with navigation will receive 3D maps. Other improvements include the updated interface of the infotainment complex and the new Bluetooth module. In addition, the manufacturer has improved the microphone, capable of providing better voice quality during calls and voice commands.
Also recently, the electric Volvo XC40 will receive a new Android-based infotainment complex with integrated Google technologies.
