New Hyundai Venue crossover: demand has surpassed the capacity of the plantJune 22, 2019
Only a month ago, the company announced the start of accepting pre-orders for its own new product, as well as the start of sales. During this time, we managed to collect 33,000 prepaid orders, and approximately 200,000 purchase intentions.
The press service of Hyundai “complained” about the rush demand of the new Venue crossover. A budget model with a modern design has received more orders in the first month than it can produce cars in the next 3-4 months. At the moment, their cars are expected to 33,000 customers who have fully paid for them. Also, the site managed to collect 200,000 people interested in buying.
All the complexity lies in the production capacity, which is about 8 000 – 9 000 cars per month. Thus, the queue for the crossover is already at least 3 months.
Demand is very helpful price tag, which starts from 650 000 rupees in the Indian market. The dimensions are quite modest, but familiar to local car owners: length – 3,995 mm, width – 1,770 mm, height – 1,680 mm, the distance between the axes – 2,500 mm.
Under the hood, one of three engines can be installed: a 1.2-liter engine for 83 hp, a 1.0-liter gasoline turbo for 120 forces, and a 1.4-liter turbo diesel engine for 90 hp.
Meanwhile, the analogue of the new Hyundai Santa Fe from China will be available on June 15. Haima is ready to market its new Haima 8S crossover. The exterior of the novelty has much in common with the design of the latest generation Hyundai Santa Fe.
