Hyundai has officially unveiled the new generation of the popular Hyundai Tucson compact crossover.

The fourth generation Hyundai Tucson is made in a perfect unique design called Sensuous Sportiness – “sensual sportiness”. Among the highlights of the company’s new corporate identity are the Parametric Hidden Lights LED headlights, which, when switched off, become part of the geometric pattern of the radiator grille. In addition, they took over the function of daytime running lights.

At the rear, the car received no less spectacular lighting technology with an LED strip along the entire length of the tailgate and two “fangs” on each side, a wide diffuser, into which a pair of chrome-plated exhaust pipes are implanted and a wiper hidden under the upper spoiler.

Complex body panels with pronounced angles and “muscular” wings create an aggressive look of the novelty. It is complemented by stylish 19-inch wheels of the original design.

But the salon, on the contrary, is replete with smooth rounded lines. The design of the torpedo is made in the style of sea yachts. The symmetrical driver and front passenger panels feature chrome moldings, while two-tone leather upholstery and ambient lighting in 64 colors and 10 brightness levels add to the premium model. In the basic version, the multimedia system will receive an 8-inch display, and in more expensive configurations – a 10.25-inch touchscreen.

The instrument cluster is also digitally made, and the usual buttons on the center console are almost gone. For example, the ventilation and air conditioning system is now controlled exclusively using the touch screen. The backrests of the second row of seats can be folded down. In this case, the volume of the trunk will increase to 1,095 liters.

The new Hyundai Tucson will be available with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder 190 hp petrol engine. and an 8-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the car will be offered in hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions with a 1.6-liter 180-horsepower turbo engine and an electric auxiliary motor. The total power of the hybrid power unit is 230 hp. Sales of the novelty will start in Korea this month, and in other markets the model will appear in the first half of next year.
