New Hyundai Santa Fe shown on teaserMay 29, 2020
The Korean brand plans to upgrade its SUV.
Hyundai Santa Fe is about to receive a massive update, and the day before, a teaser image from the designers of the AtchaCars portal appeared on the Web. They tried to figure out what Hyundai was hiding in the darkened photo presented earlier.
The revised version should also adopt a rather unique design with T-shaped LED daytime running lights. While the current model has two-level headlights, the updated model will discard existing vertically located clusters for horizontal installation. The image of the teaser presented by Hyundai also showed a flatter and wider front grille with a corporate cascading shape.
The interface design will also change and the 2021 Santa Fe will be closer to the new Kia Sorento. AtchaCars made extra efforts and presented an updated SUV in various colors, although do not expect Hyundai to offer such a variety. It is undeniable that the orange hue gives off an interesting design, as does purple.
There should be major changes behind, given that Santa Fe will actually switch to another platform. It also implies that major changes are also planned for the salon, using more technology than ever before. Under the hood, Hyundai has already confirmed that there will be hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The official debut is due in the coming weeks, and South Korea is likely to receive the first updated version of Santa Fe. Hyundai will have a heavily revised SUV, which goes on sale in Europe in September this year, and arrives in the US by the end of the year.
