Back in the spring, within the framework of the Beijing Automobile Salon, the conceptual model of Haima with the preliminary name SG00 was demonstrated. The model surprised all eyewitnesses with the design of the front part, which is similar to the new generation Hyundai Santa Fe. Unfortunately now the company does not disclose the serial name, but the model has already been introduced for road tests in real conditions, where it got to the photoshooters.

Judging by the recent photos, the company is not going to change the design of the car, and in the Middle Kingdom will have its own Santa Fe with a touch of local color. The car, like the donor, received a hexagonal grille, as well as a two-level front optics.

Unlike the previously presented concept, the serial version received a modified rear optics, without a connecting insert. The salon remained practically unchanged in comparison with the prototype. An exception was the other fastening of the touch screen of the infotainment system.

According to the company, the crossover will be built on the basis of its own platform HMGA (Haima Global Architecture) with independent suspension. The dimensions of the production version are not yet reported, but the Haima SG00 had a length of 4 565 mm, a width of 1,850 mm and a height of 1,682 mm, a distance between the axes is 2,630 mm.

As a power unit can be installed 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo with maximum developed capacity of up to 148 horsepower. In addition, the engine line can be attended by 1.5 and 1.6 liter motors, capable of developing up to 163 and 184 horsepower. In conjunction with all the engines will work a mechanical or automatic transmission.

Later in the lineup, a version with a modern soft or plug-in hybrid could appear. Most likely, the all-wheel drive does not appear even in the top versions.

The car will not be available until 2019. But outside the home market, it probably will not work.
