The British site Carwow organized a drag race between the new hot hatch Hyundai i30 N and the BMW 328i coupe in the back of the E36, which was produced from 1990 to 2000. Cars were compared at a classic quarter-mile (402 meter) distance and braking.
Hyundai i30 N is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine, the return of which is 275 horsepower and 378 Nm of torque. The unit is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox and accelerates a hot hatch from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.1 seconds. The maximum speed of the model is limited to 250 kilometers per hour.
BMW 328i is equipped with a 2.8-liter row “six”. The engine recoil is 227 horsepower. With a base unit with a power of 193, the coupe is able to accelerate to the “hundred” in 7.3 seconds. Maximum speed – 236 kilometers per hour.
