New generation KIA Optima has already reached dealersDecember 12, 2019
A stylish liftback was introduced only three weeks ago, and now the company is taking orders and has begun supplying the first copies to dealerships
The all-new KIA Optima, also known as the KIA K5, has already been spotted at some dealerships. So far, sales have not officially begun, but pre-orders have been going on for some time. Car 2020 model year received a completely new design that has nothing to do with its predecessor.
While the car is only available in the home market, but at the beginning of 2020 an updated version of Optima will arrive in other markets. Of the most interesting, it is worth noting that the new product was developed from scratch, and with the familiar Optima it is associated only with the name, price tag and dimensions. Length – 4 905 mm, width – 1 860 mm, and the wheelbase has increased by 25 mm and is 2 850 mm.
Some special elements are not distinguished from the design. The new version looks more expensive than its price tag. In front of the designers beat the corporate identity of the grille, stretching it to the entire width of the car. The head optics received a block design with three lenses and an LED DRL strip. On a computer, an imitation of ventilation holes, a bell of the exhaust system, as well as a rear lamp across the entire width and a chrome trim on the rear window are striking.
The interior received an interesting finish from inexpensive, but high-quality materials. On the front panel there is a wide multimedia display and a digital instrument panel.
