New generation Dacia Sandero spotted on testsFebruary 7, 2020
The car is tested in harsh winter conditions and is preparing for the soon premiere.
On the eve of the new generation Dacia Sandero was spotted on test trials in winter conditions. This suggests that quite soon we are waiting for his official presentation. The current version of the car has a very long history – the last modification was made in 2012. However, sales went well, and 2018 was a record year for a model in Europe. However, now Renault has decided to make the car more technological. It is expected that the new Dacia Sandero will be positioned as a model in 2021, and will show it in the second half of 2020.
The main novelty is an attempt to use the new modular platform CMF, to which Renault plans to transfer 80% of all models.
Recall that the current version of the car is made on platform of 2002. From the exterior, we note a change in the shape of the body, as well as a completely new design of the front bumper and the line of the hood. It has not yet been possible to look into the salon, but it is expected that the changes there will be more significant than outside. Experts suggest that with the change of generations, Dacia Sandero will no longer be as affordable, so the demand for it can significantly decrease.
