The Chinese automaker has published a price list for one of the most anticipated new products in the local market – the Geely Icon model.
Judging by the pictures, the production car received an unusual and avant-garde design. Embossed embossments on the sides, multi-level optics in the front, complex-shaped lights at the back, as well as large rims distinguish the car from a number of classmates. Hidden door handles complement the futuristic look. They automatically extend when the driver is 1.5 meters from the car. These solutions migrated directly from the previously presented concept.
The interior is also made in the “sci-fi” style. So, two 10.25-inch displays were located inside immediately. Moreover, the central one received the latest LVDS technology. This is an interactive display with support for multi-touch gestures, as on modern phones. Naturally, the multimedia system supports voice control.
The Geely Icon is driven by a 1.5-liter turbo engine borrowed from the Volvo XC40 and Geely Coolray. The maximum power is 177 hp, and the torque is 255 Nm. The list of available options includes a 48-volt hybrid system that adds 13 hp. and 45 Nm of torque. In the latter case, the crossover accelerates to 100 km / h in 7.9 seconds. As a transmission – a “robot” with two clutches.
The dimensions of the new product slightly exceed the dimensions of the Hyundai Creta: 4350x1810x1615 mm. The wheelbase is 2640 mm. Combined fuel consumption is about 5.7 l / 100 km.
In the basic version, the Chinese model is estimated at 115,800 yuan The “soft” hybrid is estimated at 30 thousand yuan more expensive. For the top version of Icon, you will have to pay 128,800 yuan.
