Game studio Criterion has announced a new part of the legendary Need For Speed racing franchise. The new game in the series will be called Hot Pursuit Remastered and will be the official “relaunch” of the game that was released several years ago.

After the number 510 continued to appear in the background of those photos that were dedicated to the new part of the game Need For Speed, it became clear that the creators of the game were trying to tell us something in this way. It turned out that 510 is a police radio code that means speeding or starting a chase. We had no idea that this three-digit number could indicate an updated version of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.

Game studio Criterion will develop a “reboot” for the infamous Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. The game will feature all the content we know and love from the original game, with even more possibilities.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 starting November 6, and Nintendo Switch users will have to wait until November 13 to get behind the wheel. Fortunately, the update will feature a cross-platform multiplayer mode in which everyone can fight against each other.

The new title for the game will have much higher “visual fidelity” than its predecessor a decade ago. PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch users will be able to run the game in 1080p resolution at 30fps, while PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X players can choose between 1080p 60fps performance mode and 4K 30fps precision mode.

Developed by EA-owned Criterion and Stellar Entertainment, the developers of Burnout Paradise Remastered in 2018, the game will retail for $ 39.99 or RUB 3,124. on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, and PC players can download it from Steam and Origin for $ 29.99
