New Ford Territory ahead of Hyundai Creta and became a bestsellerMay 13, 2019
Budget SUV with the only available motor debuted last fall. Immediately after entering the market, the Ford Territory was in high demand.
The Ford Territory debuted quite successfully in China. This car is not a development of the American company Ford – the base for the new compact crossover was the Chinese model JMC Yusheng S330. In the Chinese showrooms, Territory began selling at the beginning of this year. Within three months, Chinese motorists bought over 10 thousand of these cars, which provided the novelty with the title of the absolute best-selling brand in the SUV segment.
At the same time, the new compact cross overshadowed the sales of its main rival – the mini-crossover Hyundai Creta (ix25). During the same period, the Chinese purchased 8,600 copies.
Currently, the Ford Territory receives only one motor – a 1.5-liter gasoline EcoBoost with a capacity of 143 hp. Drive – no alternative front, but the transmission involves a choice – manual or automatic. The basic version of the new crossover boasts quite good equipment: ABS, ESP, air conditioning, parking sensors, engine start button, 17-inch alloy wheels. The maximum equipped SUV gets a virtual dashboar control, optics on LED-matrix and a panoramic roof.
The initial equipment is estimated at 109,800 yuan. The top cross is already 167,800 yuan.
