New Ford Puma ST spotted at the NurburgringJune 8, 2020
The Ford Puma ST was pre-tested at the Nurburgring this week, ahead of the premiere to be held later this year.
The Ford Puma ST will challenge other sporty little crossovers like the Volkswagen T-Roc R and Hyundai Kona N, and focus on giving its passengers a decent boost of adrenaline.
The novelty will use the same 1.5-liter turbo engine rated at 197 hp. and 290 Nm of torque. Power will be directed to the front axle via a six-speed manual gearbox.
The dynamic characteristics of the new model are still unknown, but the Fiesta ST can accelerate in 6.5 seconds and reach speeds of up to 232 km / h. Puma ST will be a little heavier, so it’s wiser to be a little slower.
As for its appearance, there are more powerful front and rear bumpers, a small apron, a large roof spoiler, dual tailpipes and sports wheels, as well as upgraded brakes and a low sports suspension.
The interior will include Recaro sports seats with contrasting stitching, as well as an ST marking on the gear lever and steering wheel.
