New Ford F-150 debuts June 25May 29, 2020
Mike Levine, communications manager in North America, spoke about the debut date of the long-awaited Ford news on his Twitter account.
Ford has decided on the debut date of the new Ford F-150 pickup in 2021. The novelty will be presented next month, or rather, on June 25th. Auto experts were waiting for the pickup truck to premiere back in April, but because of the coronavirus pandemic, these plans were doomed: the automaker was forced to postpone the debut date of the new truck for several months. And now we know the exact date. The production of new items was postponed until October, and sales of the Ford F-150 were scheduled for the end of 2020.
Up to four power units can enter the motor gamut of the novelty. We know about this thanks to the leak of documents. The pickup will receive a 3.3-liter 290-horsepower V6 naturally aspirated, a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with a return of 325 “horses”, as well as a 375-horsepower EcoBoost at 2.7 liters. The five-liter V8 engine claims to be the “senior” engine, but this may also apply to the next Raptor.
Among other details are the novelty’s support for wireless updates, a new large central display, an additional generator, etc. All of them will be confirmed or not in a few weeks.
Meanwhile, the new Ford Puma ST crossover was declassified on renderings. The appearance of the “charged” version of the Ford Puma compact cross is scheduled for the end of this year.
