Just two new items from Ford should please fans of the company in the near future.
One of them is a Ford Escape crossover, the other is a Bronco SUV. Unites models the same designer.
According to chief designer Andrew Bazinski, he drew inspiration from many models of cars and even motorcycles to create the forms of the new Escape. In particular, the Porsche 911 inspired him to create the rear of the car, which is why the car got a pretty streamlined sport silhouette.
Recall that Andrew Bazinsky, while working on the Escape and developed the design of a sports bike for BMW. Probably he took a piece of ideas from this project.
A 1.5 liter engine is installed under the hood, which is paired with a turbocharger capable of producing 250 hp. It is planned that next year we can expect a version with a hybrid pair of a 2.5 liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. Such a tandem can provide models of 209 hp.
The crossover should appear on sale as early as this fall, and the cost of the car in the basic configuration will start at $ 24,895. As for Bronco, its appearance should not be expected next year, since the start of sales of the model is planned for 2021.
