New Ferrari P80 / C: one-piece supercar with four-year developmentMarch 26, 2019
The Italian brand of premium sports cars officially unveiled a new model. According to official information on the development and creation of the supercar took about four years, and while mass production is not planned.
The company Ferrari told about the new model P80 / C, and as the name implies, the new supercar will never appear on public roads – it is a thoroughbred “horse” only for track operation. And despite the fact that most of the company’s models are a reworking of past ideas, style and design, the novelty has become the embodiment of unique ideas, although with reference to the legends of the 60s racetrack: Ferrari 330 P3 / P4 and Dino 206 S.
The company itself stated that the model was created for four years and received high peak characteristics, but the details are not disclosed. According to rumors, the Ferrari P80 / C was developed by special order of one of the customers, and it is not yet known whether the serial production will be launched later.
The design of the model is very interesting, and the absence of the need to conform to the norms and standards of civil cars allowed designers to feel free. The model has practically lost its front optics, and the taillights are styled as air ducts. The image turned out to be modern, but with a clearly traceable styling of cars from the middle of the last century.
Unfortunately, the technical characteristics, cost and date of debut on the track have not yet been reported.
