At the Grand Prix in the Japanese city Motegi in motorcycle racing for the third and fourth places fiercely fought longtime rivals – Suzuki and Yamaha. Motorcycle Suzuki GSX-RR 2018 model year proved to be worthy for the Twin Ring Motegi.

If we compare the performance of such giants of races as Honda, Yamaha, Ducati with the Japanese, then the latter loses them in power by only one percent. This disadvantage bike compensates for agility and compactness. If on a straight track it lags behind rivals in speed, then on turns, thanks to easy maneuverability, it gives a head start over a heavier Yamaha.

As a result: Mark Marquez (Persol Honda) took the first place, Creel Cratchlow (LCP Honda) took the second place, Alex Rins (Suzuki) took the third place, and Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) came fourth.

In an interview with journalists, Alex Rins admitted that Marquez deserved his title, and personally in himself he feels the strength for future victories. Note that Rins has signed a new contract with the manufacturers of Suzuki and will represent them at the next races.
