New details about the Audi A6 2019January 8, 2018
The world premiere of the new Audi A6 is expected in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
The first half of 2018 will be marked for the German automotive manufacturer from Ingolstadt by the release of the new generation Audi A6. The novelty will share the latest technology and design style with the previously released new A7 and A8. Photoplayers once again spotted test specimens of the new A6 on German roads in the new year.
Audi A6 is changing the generation of the latter among representatives of the big German manufakturer BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class. New trends in the car market require the release of eco-friendly versions and balancing between technology and the cost of the car.
On the video, a test copy of the A6 2019 model year looks ready. On it there is only a camouflage from a digital film without overhead false panels. This indicates that Audi engineers are tuning the suspension and engine and transmission control units, after which the novelty will be ready for the premiere.
The new A6 will receive a radiator grille identical to the A7, only it will be slightly higher. But the motor scale will consist of engines from the younger models A4 and A5. It’s about two-liter motors TDI and TFSI. It is expected that they will receive a soft hybrid plant in the form of a 48-volt starter-generator.
Also on the Nurburgring was a version of the Audi S6 2019 in camouflage. It differs from other test prototypes by twin exhaust system pipes, protruding from under the rear bumper. S6 will replace the four-liter V8 engine with a more economical 2.9-liter V6 turbo engine from RS4 and RS5.
