New dates for the debut of the sports car Nissan 400Z were announcedAugust 28, 2020
The debut of the successor to the Nissan 370Z coupe under the designation 400Z has been postponed.
So, now the Japanese sports car will debut in 2022, and it will appear on sale in 2023. At the same time, it was originally planned to show the novelty in 2019, and then in 2021, however, due to financial difficulties, the dates had to be shifted. In addition, the publication has shared images of the new model.
Auto Express notes that the coupe will retain the proportions of the classic Nissan 240Z Fairlady. 400Z will get complex oval headlights, rear optics, framed by a black insert in the style of 240Z. The Z logo is expected to appear on the C-pillar.
The coupe is supposed to borrow the architecture from the Infiniti Q60. In addition, from this car, the novelty will take a 400-strong “six” with a volume of 3.0 liters, together with which a 9-speed automatic transmission or manual transmission will function. Later, the flagship version of the Nismo is planned to be released, the performance of which will exceed 500 hp. At the same time, the new model will not receive any hybrid or electric modifications.
In addition, it was recently noted that the Japanese company Nissan showed a restyled version of the Kicks. It should be emphasized that the start of sales of new items is scheduled for the end of this or the beginning of next year.
