New Dacia Sandero Stepway and Logan spotted during testsMarch 13, 2020
The next generation of cars will appear very soon, because the Renault-owned brand brings the finishing touches to the new Logan and Sandero.
Spies caught the car and photographed the sidewall. We do not know how the hatchback showed itself in the snow, but it clearly passes the tests.
Designed from the ground up, the new models will finally lose the roots of the second-generation Renault Clio and move on to the latest foundations of the French supermini. However, the CMF-B platform will not be portable without any changes, as Logan and Sandero will actually use the more basic hardware option that also underlies Nissan Micra.
Power will come from the same set of three-cylinder gasoline engines and a four-cylinder diesel, according to rumors, the Sandero Stepway will receive a flagship version with 140 horsepower from a hybrid installation. Buyers will be able to choose between manual and automatic transmissions, transmitting power exclusively to the front wheels.
The updated Logan may appear in early October at the Paris Motor Show, where it will be able to share attention with the usual Sandero.
