New crossover Volkswagen Tayron revealed before the premiereJanuary 10, 2021
Changes in the appearance of Volkswagen will not be very dramatic, but the equipment of the car will improve markedly.
The German company Volkswagen will soon present the updated Tayron crossover. At the same time, the exterior of the car without camouflage has already been revealed. Note that the model first appeared in China at the very end of 2018 and immediately gained popularity. At the end of 2020, the inhabitants of the Celestial Empire purchased 170 thousand of these machines. The update is intended to further increase the popularity of the vehicle.
Among the changes in the exterior, we note the modernized radiator grille, the updated filling of the taillights and the slightly redesigned bumpers. Behind the place of the nameplate has changed – now it flaunts under the license plate. Dimensions remained the same – 4590x1860x1660 mm with a wheelbase of 2 731 mm. The power plant is a turbo engine with two boost options – for 186 and 220 hp.
In tandem with the engine, only the proprietary DSG “robot” works. The technical equipment of the cross will become noticeably better – there will be a digital dashboard with a diagonal increased to 10.3 inches.
Also available will be “smart” cruise control, able to navigate in traffic jams and a collision avoidance system.
Prices will be announced a little later – for the current version, dealers in China are asking 188,800 yuan.
