This original Chinese crossover was unveiled back in late July at the Chengdu Auto Show. Now Haval DaGou is preparing for its market debut.
The new crossover Haval DaGou with a bold name (translated as “Big Dog”) and a spectacular appearance will be available for purchase on the home market on September 25th.
At the same time, according to the New Cars portal, the SUV will receive an off-road modification. The Chinese patent office introduces us to the appearance of such a crossover. Judging by the images that got to the Network, the new product got reinforced bumpers with a metal frame, overall wheel arch extensions, as well as a standard winch, a spacious expeditionary roof rack and a “spare wheel” on the tailgate.
Off-road version of Haval DaGou with a new body kit and additional equipment
Inside the off-road Haval DaGou, buyers will see seats with a combined trim, branded rubber mats and special door sills. In general, the interior of the new version will repeat the interior of the standard crossover.
There were no changes on the technical side. The engine lineup of the all-wheel drive Haval DaGou is the same: a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 169 horsepower, and a 196-horsepower supercharged power unit of two liters. Both engines work in conjunction with a robotic gearbox in seven stages.
By the way, Haval is going to bring the novelty outside of China. So the new crossover can reach the Russian car market.
