The American company Ford is preparing to enter the market its new large crossover called Equator. The front of the car is made in the spirit of the latest brand innovations – we note a rather large radiator grille, narrow head optics, as well as large compartments for fog lights.
The rear lights are combined with an LED strip. According to the New Cars portal, the new Ford Equator will receive 3 rows of seats and 7 seats in the cabin. The dimensions of the car will be 4905x1930x1755 mm with a wheelbase of 2 865 mm. A 2.0-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 224 hp will be used as a power plant on an uncontested basis. It is combined with an automatic transmission, and an all-wheel drive system can be obtained for a surcharge.
From the technical equipment, we highlight the presence of adaptive cruise control, an automatic collision avoidance system and a system of all-round cameras. Ford Equator should be officially presented before the end of 2020.
Meanwhile, Ford has officially unveiled the “charged” crossover Puma ST. To accelerate to 100 km / h, such a car will take only 6.7 seconds, and the maximum can be accelerated to 220 km / h.
